A safe space where your child can truly bloom

Children experience the world intensely. When they struggle, with emotions, behaviour, friendships, or school, the right support can change everything. At BloomEra, we offer gentle, evidence-informed counselling for children aged 4 to 17 in Noida, helping them find their footing at every stage of growing up.

Why It Matters

Children's mental health needs early, caring attention

Every parent knows the feeling of watching their child struggle and not quite knowing how to help. Maybe they're unusually anxious before school. Maybe there have been more meltdowns than usual, or they've grown quieter in a way that worries you. Maybe their teacher has flagged something. These moments matter, and you were right to notice them.
Children's emotional and psychological development is remarkably sensitive. The challenges they face — whether it's adjusting to a new sibling, navigating peer conflict, managing learning differences, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the pace of life, can feel enormous to a young person who doesn't yet have the words or the coping tools to manage them.
At BloomEra, we work alongside children and their families, not with a fixed checklist of symptoms to tick off, but with genuine curiosity about who your child is. Every session is child-led, unhurried, and shaped around their individual needs.
"Children rarely say 'I'm not okay' in those words. They show us, through behaviour, through silence, through art, through play. Our job is to listen in the language they use."

Mental Health Concerns

1 in 7 adolescents in India experience a significant mental health concern — and most go unsupported for years simply because families didn't know where to begin.

Early Support Benefits

Early support doesn't just help now, children who receive timely counselling build emotional resilience that benefits them well into adulthood.

No Diagnosis Needed

You don't need a referral or a label to reach out. If something feels off, that's reason enough to start a conversation with us.

Signs to Watch For

Is your child telling you something without saying a word?

Persistent worry or fear

Excessive anxiety about school, separation from parents, social situations, or new experiences, even when there's no obvious reason to be afraid.

Intense emotional outbursts

Frequent tantrums, rage, or distress that feels disproportionate and difficult to calm, especially in children who struggle to identify what they're feeling.

Declining school performance

A sudden drop in grades, refusal to attend school, difficulty concentrating in class, or repeated complaints of headaches and stomachaches on school mornings.

Social withdrawal

Pulling away from friendships, losing interest in activities they once loved, or struggling to connect with peers in age-appropriate ways.

Sleep and appetite changes

Trouble falling asleep, frequent nightmares, or changes in eating patterns, particularly when combined with mood shifts or low energy.

Behavioural changes at home

Increased aggression, defiance, lying, or regression to younger behaviours, particularly after a significant life change or stressor.

Seeing yourself in this list doesn't mean something is "wrong" with your child, it means you're paying close attention. And that attention is already an act of care. The next step is simply a conversation.

What We Offer

Therapeutic support shaped around your child

01

Child Counselling & Psychotherapy (Ages 5–17)

Our core offering, a warm, consistent therapeutic relationship where children can make sense of their inner world. Through talk, play, drawing, and storytelling, we help children process big feelings, develop coping strategies, and build lasting emotional resilience. Suitable for anxiety, low mood, self-esteem challenges, grief, trauma, and more.

02

Play Therapy (Ages 4–10)

For younger children who don't yet have the vocabulary to describe their experiences, play is the most natural language. In a non-directive play therapy setting, children use toys, art, sand, and creative materials to express and work through what they're carrying. No agenda, no pressure, just a safe space to be.

03

Behavioural Support & ADHD Counselling (Ages 6–16)

For children who struggle with attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, or persistent behavioural challenges, we offer structured, evidence-based support that also helps parents and caregivers understand and respond more effectively. Sessions may include elements of CBT, skills-based coaching, and psychoeducation.

04

School Anxiety & Academic Stress (Ages 7–17)

The pressure children face at school — exams, friendships, performance expectations, transitions, can be genuinely overwhelming. We work directly with children on managing academic stress, test anxiety, and school refusal, while helping families create supportive structures at home.

05

Parent-Child Relationship & Family Sessions (All ages)

Children don't exist in isolation, they exist within families. When the parent-child relationship needs strengthening, or when a family is navigating a significant change (divorce, a new sibling, relocation, bereavement), joint sessions offer a structured space for everyone to be heard.

06

Developmental & Learning Concerns (Ages 4–12)

If your child seems to be developing differently from their peers, in speech, social interaction, learning, or sensory processing, we can offer support and, where appropriate, guidance on further specialist assessment. Early support for developmental differences makes a measurable difference.

Developmental Stages

We meet children exactly where they are

Ages 4–6 — Early Childhood

Play-based, sensory, and creative approaches. Building emotional vocabulary and a sense of safety. Parent guidance is central at this stage.

Ages 7–10 — Middle Childhood

Cognitive approaches begin alongside play. Supporting friendships, school adjustment, self-esteem, and coping with family change.

Ages 11–13 — Pre-Adolescence

Identity, social pressure, and transition to secondary school. Talk-based sessions, CBT skills, and building emotional literacy.

Ages 14–17 — Adolescence

Deeper exploration of identity, mental health, relationships, and future anxiety. A confidential, non-judgemental space where teens feel genuinely respected.

Our Process

How we work together

1

An initial conversation

We begin with a parent consultation, a relaxed, confidential conversation about your concerns, your child's history, and what you're hoping support might look like. No forms, no pressure.

2

Meeting your child

The first child session is all about connection, getting to know your child in a low-pressure, warm environment. We never rush. Trust is built at their pace, not ours.

3

A shared care plan

After the initial sessions, we'll share our understanding of your child's needs and outline a clear, personalised approach. You'll always know what we're doing and why.

4

Ongoing sessions & family check-ins

Weekly or fortnightly sessions, with regular parent updates so you stay connected to your child's progress without compromising the therapeutic space your child needs.

Our Therapeutic Methods Include:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Play & Art Therapy
Mindfulness-based techniques
Narrative Therapy
Trauma-informed care
Parent-inclusive sessions

FAQ

Questions parents often ask us

At what age can a child start counselling at BloomEra?

We work with children from age 4 onwards. Our approach adapts to each child's developmental stage, so whether your child is in early childhood or their teenage years, we can provide meaningful support. For children under 4, we typically work with parents directly.

How do I know if my child actually needs counselling?

If something feels off, a shift in behaviour, mood, friendships, or school life, that's reason enough to reach out. You don't need to wait until things are at crisis point. In fact, the earlier families seek support, the faster and more lasting the results tend to be. An initial consultation will help clarify if counselling is the right next step.

Will I know what my child says in sessions?

Confidentiality is central to effective therapy, especially for older children and teens. Parents receive regular progress updates, and we'll always inform you if we have serious safety concerns. The details of what your child shares, however, remain confidential.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is intentionally light and unhurried. We get to know your child, their interests, their world, while beginning to understand what's brought them to us. For younger children, parents may be present for part or all of the first session. There's no pressure to open up immediately.

How many sessions will my child need?

This varies depending on the child and what they're working through. Some children make significant progress in 8–12 sessions. Others benefit from longer-term support. We review progress regularly and always discuss the path forward with you openly.

Do you offer online child counselling?

Yes. We offer in-person sessions at our Sector 45, Noida centre and online sessions for families across India. Online sessions are conducted via secure video and can be surprisingly effective, particularly for older children and teens.

Do parents get support during the process?

Absolutely. Beyond regular updates, we can offer dedicated parent guidance sessions where we help you understand what your child is experiencing and how to respond at home. Parenting a child who is struggling is hard. You deserve support too.
